No Veteran Buried Alone
OWRL was built in the likeness of Arlington Ladies, which was founded during WWII when soldiers were coming home to little or no family. These women stood in to ensure no Veteran was buried alone. Today, that mission continues at some of our National Cemeteries at the hands of Ladies' organizations built in their likeness.

Considering starting your own Ladies' organization?
Here are a few questions to consider:
Who is your group representing? (The community of your cemetery? Your cemetery director? A public official? Who will you present your burial note on behalf of?)
Will you be a 501c3 or a subsection of another group?
How will you present yourself as a group? Many of us have uniforms of some kind, name tags, etc
If you are a new Ladies organization, send an email to ohiowesternreserveladies@gmail.com, and we would love to have you at our semi-annual collaboration call!
